Sunday 12th July 2026 - Break the School Holiday Boredom!

Join Steam Incorporated this School Holidays, as we invite you onboard our heritage train for a brilliant steam train ride for the whole family!

Trains are operating all Sunday between Paekakariki and Porirua, a beautiful scenic run along the Paekakariki Escarpment on the Kapiti Coast. In our run between Pukerua Bay and Paekakariki, we pass through 6 short tunnels! A section of railway line with origins dating back to 1886. A scenic train journey for the whole family, steam along the coast onboard our heritage train with our friendly team!

These trains are topped & tailed by one of our coal-fired steam locomotives, and our Da class diesel electric.

Fares 

Family - $99 - 2 Adults & 2 Children

General Admission - $29 - Aged 3+

Infant - Free - No allocated seat
