Steam Incorporated & the Glenbrook Vintage Railway invite you to join in the celebrations of this milestone event in the heritage rail industry, and travel onboard a special weekend of excursion trains. In what is set to be the biggest mainline rail weekend in many years, immerse yourself in a special programme of train running - featuring a double headed steam excursion to Ohakune, Ww 644's first excursions in the Manawatu in preservation, and a quartet of EMD diesels heading to Taumarunui!

Sit back and relax on a short heritage train ride between the bustle of Porirua to the beaches of Paekakariki, a highlight being the scenic run along the Paekakariki Escarpment on the Kapiti Coast. All trains hauled by Ab 608 heading north to Paekakariki, and Da 1410 heading south to Porirua (subject to locomotive availability).
