There’s something about a steam train that attracts people. Why not let it be your event that’s remembered in this way. The Steam Incorporated vintage train can provide the means to take your customers to a venue, or it can be the venue itself. What better way to get a message across to clients, or as a special "thank you" to customers and staff, than to gather them together in the old world charm of our Vintage Train. All carriages are linked by public address, and the train includes a bar/service area.
You can hire just a single carriage on one of our regular public excursions or your own train with seating for up to 600 guests.
Examples of long term charters include the North Pole Express Christmas train in Kapiti and the Marlborough Flyer cruise ship tourist trains out of Picton.

Film companies requiring authentic footage of steam trains and heritage railway architecture can find it all through Steam Incorporated. Advertisers seeking that unusual theme or back-drop for a product, either on film or with still photography will find the opportunity within our site at Paekakariki. Water towers, a turntable and an engine shed and workshops are all images of times past to be found at Paekakariki. We can offer just a single steam engine or a full length train of upto fifteen period carriages. Along with TV commercials recent films we were heavily involved in included "Tangiwai a Love Story" and "Home by Christmas".

For thirteen years steam train rides were a major attraction at the annual Napier Art Deco Weekend. This five day operation offered a variety of local excursions.
