Join Steam Incorporated, on this exclusive train trip from Blenheim to Kekerengu for a fantastic evening meal, on the edge of the Pacific. 

Departing from Blenheim Station, the train takes you south over the majestic Dashwood Pass, down onto the expansive Salt Lakes at Grassmere, before dropping down again once more to meet the Pacific Ocean at Wharanui. From Wharanui, we're only 20min away from our destination at Kekerengu.

The Store at Kekerengu was established in 1994, converting the existing petrol station & convenience store into the popular SH1 roadside cafe and restaurant. Now a popular venue for large scale events including weddings, the friendly team at The Store look forward to welcoming you off the train with open arms.

The Store team will be serving you a banquet of Champagne Ham, Rare Roast Beef, a selection of Summer salads, fresh minted new potatoes, accompanied by authentic Crusty bread with in house prepared chutney, horseradish and mustards.

A platter of sweet treats will be circulated afterwards and a tea and coffee station will be provided.

Following this, you'll be asked to jump back onboard our special train as we return you back to Blenheim to complete your evening with Steam Incorporated & The Store.
